Grace Fellowship Church is
an evangelical church that confesses the five statements of reformed doctrine
- Scripture alone, Christ alone, Grace alone, Faith alone and Glory
to God alone. Grace Fellowship Church believes that the Bible is the infallible and sufficient word of God and our ultimate authority. We are desirous of spreading the message of the biblical gospel in its fullness and truth.
We believe that central to the gospel are the Doctrines of Grace which reiterate the scriptural truth that we are all born spiritually dead but are regenerated by the grace of God through the work of the Holy Spirit, and, in salvation, are rescued only by God's sovereign grace through faith in Christ alone. We give particular emphasis to these doctrines in our teaching.
A key message of the Gospel is that we are more sinful and flawed than we ever dared believe, yet, at the same time, we can be more accepted and loved than we ever dared hope because Jesus Christ lived and died in our place. We can live around the truth of the Gospel and not “get” it. We cannot really understand all the vast implications and applications of it. Only as the Gospel is applied in our lives more and more deeply and radically, only as we think out all its truth, does it bear fruit and grow. Grace Fellowship Church is committed to boldly proclaiming God’s grace in all its truth and to a continual rediscovery of the Gospel.
"Your worst days are never so bad that you are beyond the
reach of God's grace. And your best days are never so good
that you are beyond the need of God's grace.
Jerry Bridges, The
Disciplines of Grace, Navpress, 1994
Our essential Biblical doctrines are embodied in
the
Westminster Confession of Faith.
